  • Cardmember walks into participating store and select the items they intend to redeem. Cardmember is invited to try and test out the item, color selection etc.
  • Cardmember brings the item they intend to redeem to the counter and flashes their RHB Credit Card.
  • Cashier will slot in the RHB Credit Card into the card terminal to check on available RHB Reward Points accumulated and an enquiry slip will be produced for cardmembers to check the remaining balance.
  • Cashier does the transaction by deducting the number of RHB Reward Points equivalent to the product price.
  • RHB Cardmember signs the sales slip and ready to go with the redeemed item. Sales slip will detail approval code, transaction amount / reward points redeemed (in RHB value) and the Reward Points balances.

Scenario 3 – redemption where purchases with ringgit and sens

  • Items with decimal denomination (cents).
  • Eg. Cardmember wants to redeem for an item costing RM100.50. He has 20,000 RHB Reward Points to redeem for RM100, RM0.50 will be debited into his/her credit card as the current system does not accept decimal (in cents) transactions.
