Overview

The latest addition to RHB's family of cards, The Tesco-RHB Credit Card is a co-brand credit card partnering with Tesco Stores (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. It's our first lifestyle card that offers both Cash Back and Clubcard Points.

** Last Weekend of the month refers to Saturday & Sunday for Non-East Coast Tesco Stores and Friday & Saturday for East Coast Tesco Stores (Sg Petani, Alor Setar, Kulim, Stargate and Kota Bharu).

The Card is offered Free during the 1st year of membership. After which, the following will apply:

Application

Similar to any credit cards, applicants must be of a minimum of 21 years old and hold a minimum income of RM24,000 per annum.

Note: Standard Cost of RM0.30 for each SMS shall be borne by the sender.

Clubcard Points Programme

Q: Can I earn both Cash Back and Clubcard Points at the same time?
A: Yes, you can.

Q: What are Clubcard Points? How does it differ from RHB Reward Points?
A: Clubcard Points are reward points that you gain only for expenses charged to your Card. These points are unique to the Card itself. The RHB Reward Points programme does not apply here.

Q: So how does the Clubcard Points programme work?
A: For every RM2 spent, you will earn yourself 1 Clubcard Point. However, you can also earn an additional 1 Clubcard point for every RM2 spent if you swipe both your Tesco Clubcard and your Tesco-RHB Credit Card together at any Tesco outlets.

Q: I am currently not holding a Tesco Clubcard. Is it compulsory for me to own one?
A: No, it is not compulsory. However, if you wish to take advantage of extra benefits, you are encouraged to register for a Tesco Clubcard along with your Tesco-RHB Credit Card application. If you already have a Tesco-RHB Credit Card, just visit any Tesco outlet to register for a Tesco Clubcard.

Q: If I don't have a Tesco Clubcard, how can I enjoy 2 Clubcard Points for every RM2 spent at Tesco outlets?
A: You will not be able to enjoy 2 Clubcard Points without a Tesco Clubcard. Only 1 Clubcard Point for every RM2 spent.

Q: What can I do with the Points I've earned?
A: The Clubcard Points you've accumulated will entitle you to Tesco cash vouchers. Eligible cardholders will receive their cash vouchers via their Tesco Clubcard mailing statements, sent each quarter of the year.

Q: Will my Points expire?
A: No, your Clubcard Points will not expire.

Q: Where can I check my latest Points status/balance?
A: Your Points will be transferred to Tesco on the 27th of every month. Please allow up to 2 days to update your records, after which you may check on your updated Points at any Tesco outlet nationwide.

Q: Can I earn Points for petrol transactions?
A: Yes, you can earn Points for all petrol transactions.

Cash Back Programme

Q: What is the Cash Back offered?
A: As a Tesco-RHB Credit Cardholder, you will be able to enjoy 2% Cash Back on all your purchases at Tesco. We will also reward you with additional Cash Back from time to time. (please click here for latest promotions)

Q: How does Cash Back benefit me?
Cash Back earned will be directly deducted from your amount spent and will be reflected on your monthly credit card statement. This means you pay less on your outstanding retail balances, saving more for yourself.

Q: What is the maximum Cash Back that I can earn?
Maximum Cash Back is calculated at 40% of your total monthly retail spending and the ceiling amount is capped at RM50 each month.*
