• In this Agreement, the definition of terms shall be as set out below, except where the context otherwise requires:
  
  
• "Award" means the award of TM Air Miles to Travel Money Credit Cardmembers issued by RHB Bank Berhad by the participating partners and/or by RHB Bank Bhd.
  
  
• "Participating Merchant's" means the agreement between RHB and the Partner Merchant in respect of the TM Air Miles Programme.


• The TM Air Miles Programme is applicable to the Principal and supplementary Travel Money Credit Cardmembers with active and good conduct of account.


• The TM Air Miles is awarded to cardmember who has a valid Travel Money Credit Card Account with RHB and with good conduct of account so determined by RHB.


• The TM Air Miles awarded to the active Travel Money cardmembers will be valid for 2 years from the year the TM Air Miles is being awarded. The TM Air Miles earn can only be accumulated and redeemed against the RHB partnering travel agent's travel packages or RHB catalogue offerings. For redemption of the TM Air Miles, cardmember will have to call RHB Travel Money Redemption Hotline at 03-92068118 or 082-276118 (for normal redemption) or 03-27191858 (for travel / holiday packages).


• All TM Air Miles awarded and earned by Travel Money cardmember will be awarded at the Travel Money credit card account. Cardmember will be able to view the total accumulated TM Air Miles by: -
  
  
  • Viewing of the balance of TM Air Miles on the monthly TM Credit Card statement under column "REWARDS" (TM Air Miles = Rewards)
  
  For the avoidance of doubt, dispute and not withstanding any clause or provision in terms of the inconsistency of the TM Air Miles balance amount stipulated or printed on the credit card transaction payment receipt, statement, payment or redemption terminal from any of the TM Air Miles participating merchants outlet against the TM Air Miles recorded in the RHB Credit Card system, the TM Air Miles balance amount recorded in the RHB Credit Card system shall prevail to the extent of such inconsistency. RHB reserves the right to amend, adjust and cancel the TM Air Miles at its sole discretion without any prior notice given.
  


• TM Air Miles redemption/On The Spot redemption is applicable only to existing principal Cardmembers. All existing and valid Travel Money Credit Cardmembers will have to go through the authentication or identification or verification process and upon being successfully accepted by the customer service personnel as the genuine cardmember then the said cardmember is allowed to perform the Travel Money redemptions.


• Awards shall be made by Partner Merchants (including RHB in its capacity as a Partner Merchant) for the purchase of goods and/or services by the cardmembers from the Partner Merchants in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, the Partner Merchant's Agreement, and the Partner Merchants' Terms and Conditions. The Partner Merchants shall make Awards by crediting the TM Air Miles with the relevant percentage of the merchant-funding rate agreed to RHB. TM Air Miles cannot be credited into any account other than the cardmembers TM Air Miles Loyalty Account. Notwithstanding the foregoing, RHB may, at its sole and absolute discretion, award TM Air Miles to the cardmembers pursuant to these Terms and Conditions and subject to such additional terms as may be imposed by RHB at its discretion.


• Partner Merchants may require a cardmember to produce a valid Travel Money Credit Card issued by RHB before making an Award. Partner Merchants may, subject to the prior written approval by RHB
  
  
  • Determine the terms and conditions under which they will make Awards (the "Partner Merchant's Terms and Conditions"); and 10.2 Amend or vary their Partner Merchant's Terms and Conditions RHB shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure on the part of the Partner Merchants in making Awards or in notifying RHB of the TM Air Miles awarded to cardmembers.
  
  


• An Award shall be valid only if, at the time of the Award, the Partner Merchant making the Award:
  
  
• Is party to a valid and existing Partner Merchant's Agreement; and
  
  
• Is not in breach of the Partner Merchant's Agreement whether or not RHB has notice of or has given notice to the Partner Merchant of any breach by the Partner Merchant.


• For the avoidance of doubt, and notwithstanding any clause or provision in this terms and conditions, RHB may at any time, at its sole and absolute discretion, cancel any of the TM Air Miles from any cardmembers Travel Money Loyalty Account, awarded to cardmembers for any reason whatsoever.


• The TM Air Miles participating merchants are under the sole discretion of RHB. RHB has the right to add, reduce or cancel any participating merchants from the TM Air Miles programme at any time without any prior notice given.


• Each TM Air Miles awarded shall be valid for 2 years from the year of the Award and shall expire thereafter. TM Air Miles that is not redeemed by its expiry date shall be automatically cancelled. RHB may from time to time change the period of validity of the TM Air Miles without notice to the Customer. Expired TM Air Miles will not be redeemable for cash or credit. Expired TM Air Miles is not transferable. The TM Air Miles accumulated will expire upon the 2 years accumulation period and no refund, extension, compensation and notices will be given.


• TM Air Miles awarded is not redeemable for cash or credit and not transferable. The TM Air Miles awarded to cardmembers are not mutually exchangeable or transferable and cannot be used in substitution of each other for purposes of redemption.


• Unless otherwise specified or allowed, all awards of TM Air Miles are not to be used in conjunction with any other promotions, discounts or vouchers. All deals / merchandise redeemed by cardmembers or booked by cardmembers via the redemption Hotline are subject to the terms and conditions of RHB Bank Berhad. All confirmed bookings are not refundable or exchangeable and seat reservations are subject to the terms and conditions imposed by the partnering travel agency.


• All redemption bookings are required to be made by each individual cardmember by calling the RHB Travel Money Redemption Hotline 03-92068118 or 082-276118 (for normal redemptions) or 03-27191858 (for travel / holiday package). RHB has the right to reject or cancel any redemption received at its sole discretion without giving any reason or notice whatsoever.


• The TM Air Miles will be deducted from the cardmembers TM Air Miles accumulation account upon confirmation of the redemption. Upon confirmation of travel/holiday package cardmember will be given a flight confirmation or booking number via telephone confirmation or e-mail. No cancellation, amendment, exchange is allowed once the redemption has been confirmed. RHB will only be responsible for the redemption of the TM Air Miles. Therefore is not responsible for the complains, disputes, comments or all other matters related to the partnering travel agent's services, customer services, flight route and all other services, pricing of flights, holiday packages, availability of flight seats, destination and all other matters related to the partnering travel agent's nature of business or so determined by RHB, will be managed by partnering travel agent.


• In determining the amount paid for the purchase of goods and/or services for purposes of calculation of TM Air Miles, annual card membership fees, interest, late payment charges, GST, cash advances, and other fees and charges and purchases from the non participating partner merchants outlets shall not be taken into account provided always that RHB is entitled, in its absolute discretion, at any time and from time to time and without notice and without giving any reason, to take into account any card transaction or charges or purchase in the calculation of TM Air Miles.


• Redemption may only be made upon the verification of the cardmember's identity by RHB in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or the Partner Merchant's Agreement.
  
  
  • RHB may require a cardmember to produce a valid credit card or verification details before processing any Redemption.
    
    
  • RHB Reward Points awarded on purchases at non-participating merchants outlet awarded to cardmembers are not mutually exchangeable or transferable and cannot be used in substitution of each other for purposes of Redemption or any other purpose.
    
    
  • Any dispute arising from or relating to any awarding of the TM Air Miles shall be settled between the cardmember and Partner Merchant. RHB shall not be liable for any claim arising from or relating to any Redemption.
    
    
  • RHB shall not be responsible for any unauthorized Redemption or any other transaction involving TM Air Miles howsoever arising (even if the Customer had informed RHB that the Card had been lost or stolen).
    
    
  • For certain Partner Merchants (as may be determined by RHB or the Partner Merchant from time to time), Customer acknowledges and agrees that any Redemption by Customer must be made in full (and no partial Redemption is permitted).
    
    
  • TM Air Miles awarded is valid for 2 years from the date the TM Air Miles is awarded and shall expire and no longer be valid upon expiry. All or any correspondence pertaining to the expired TM Air Miles will not be entertained.


• All redemptions are subject to availability of flights and are on first come first basis. RHB has the right to cancel, amend or substitute the destinations of the Travel Money flight redemption tickets at any point of time without any prior notices given. Cardmembers are required to quote the booking number to board the plane for the redeemed ticket(s).


• TM Air Miles and all other points of award by RHB will cease to be valid after the Travel Money Credit Card has been cancelled. For the avoidance of doubt, the Customer shall not be entitled to any compensation in respect of such cancellation

• No redemption is allowed upon the Travel Money Credit Card cancellation or during an inactive card status so determined by RHB.


• The RHB Rewards programme of RM1 = 1 RHB TM Air Miles will be awarded to cardmembers when they spend with the Travel Money Credit Card and all other non TM Air Miles participating merchants. All rewards programme terms and conditions shall apply.


• Cardmembers are required to provide authentication provided by the partnering travel agent to proceed with their bookings. Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing clauses in these Terms and Conditions, if any one or more of the following shall occur:
  
  
  • The Customer abuses the Programme in any manner whatsoever;
    
    
  • The Customer commits any fraud or misrepresents any information supplied or to be supplied by the Customer; Then RHB shall be entitled to revoke all rights accorded to the Customer under the Travel Money credit card.


• RHB shall not be responsible or liable to any Customer for any inconvenience, loss or damage or embarrassment incurred or suffered by Customer as a consequence of, but not limited to: a) any malfunction, defect or error in any Terminal, or other machines, or system of authorization, howsoever caused; or b) any rejection of Card or PIN by any Terminal at the Partner Merchants' outlets or any failure to effect or complete any transaction howsoever caused; or c) any delay or inability on the part of RHB to perform any of its obligations pursuant to this Agreement because of any electronic, mechanical, system, data processing or telecommunication defect or failure, or any event outside its control or the control of any of the Partner Merchants; or d) Any delay, inability or refusal on the part of the Partner Merchant to perform any of their obligations pursuant to their Partner Merchant's agreement for any reason whatsoever


• In the event of any inconsistency between the English version and Bahasa Malaysia translation of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail to the extent of such inconsistency.

Terms and Conditions

The Terms and Conditions herein are to be read together with, and are supplementary to the standard Terms and Conditions of RHB Bank Berhad Travel Money Credit Card Cardholder Agreement ("Cardholder Agreement"). In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between this agreement and the Cardholder Agreement, the terms of this agreement shall prevail in so far as it is applicable to RHB Travel Money Cash Rebate. The word "Card" means RHB Travel Money Credit Card issued by RHB Bank Berhad ("RHB"). The word "Cardmembers" means the holder of the Card which shall include Supplementary Card(s). The "Rebate Programme" means a spending programme available to eligible Cardmembers to enable Cardmembers to earn Rebate from petrol transactions from any petrol stations in Malaysia subject to the terms and conditions herein.

• Rebate Programme is open to all eligible Cardmembers (both Principal and Supplementary) who use their Cards for petrol transactions only at petrol stations in Malaysia from 1 st July 2009 to 30 th September 2009, both dates inclusive ("the Promotion Period").


• For each transaction for payment of petrol at any petrol stations nationwide, Cardmembers will be entitled to:
  
  
  • Rebate of 5% on every first weekend (Saturday and Sunday) of the month from 1st July 2009 to 30th September 2009. First weekend is defined as 4th & 5th July 2009, 1st & 2nd August 2009 and 5th & 6th September 2009.
  
  
  • Rebate of 2% on normal days (except for duration specified in Item 2.1) from 1st July 2009 to 30th September 2009.
  
  The Rebate shall be subjected to a limit of RM60 per month for each Principal Card. Both Principal and Supplementary Cardmember's rebate will be accumulated to a maximum limit of RM60 per Principal credit card account per month.


• To be eligible for rebate, all transactions have to be made with the Card and Cardmember's account must be valid and in good standing as determined by RHB at its absolute discretion.


• Rebates shall be credited into the Cardmember's credit card account on the month that the relevant payment transaction is reflected in the Card statement issued by RHB. RHB may however vary the date and the frequency of the crediting of the rebate at its sole and absolute discretion. If any transactions are disputed, alleged to be fraudulent or if excess rebate is given, the Rebate earned on such transactions may be reversed or cancelled by RHB at its sole and absolute discretion.


• All rebates afforded to the Cardmember for transactions made under the Rebate Programme are in lieu of Air Miles reward points usually associated with the Card unless stated otherwise.


• Void or cancelled transactions are not entitled to rebates.


• Rebate awarded to Cardmembers by RHB is final.


• All rebates are non-transferable or exchangeable for cash.


• "First 45 days" refers to 45 days from card approval date by the Bank.


• Spend criterion for 2,000 reward points is applicable for retail purchases (excluding cash advance, balance transfer, fees and charges).


• RHB's decision is final and no correspondence disputing RHB's decision will be entertained.


• These Terms and Conditions shall prevail over any representations contained in any other promotional or advertising materials advertising the Card.


• RHB reserves the absolute right at any time to add, alter, modify, change or vary the terms and conditions contained herein, wholly or in part without assigning any reasons thereto and without notice.
