July 2008 RHB Launches "That's Easy" Contest for Credit Cardmembers Kualal Lumpur, 3 July 2008 :RHB Credit Cards rolled out its new and exciting campaign that aims to constantly reward its customers with prizes throughout the campaign. Following the success of the previous campaign, the RHB Bonanza Craze, the RHB “That’s Easy” Contest aims to bring more fun and value in simple yet innovative ways. The prize-giving ceremony of the previous campaign, the RHB Bonanza Craze, marked the beginning of today’s event. The lucky Grand Prize winner, Mr. Chee Hin Kiat thanked RHB Bank for the win. The closing ceremony of the RHB Bonanza Craze was followed by the Launch of RHB Bank’s new campaign. Aptly named the RHB “That’s Easy” Contest features great monthly prizes of One Year’s worth of Free Groceries, Petrol and Electricity. Speaking at the launch, Mr. Renzo Viegas, Group Managing Director, RHB Banking Group, commented, “We designed this campaign with our customers’ needs in mind. Given the current economic climate, we intend to reward our cardmembers with certain necessities such as groceries, petrol and electricity”. Along with bringing more value to RHB Cardmembers, the RHB “That’s Easy” Contest brings the added bonus of easy entry, comprising of just a one-time registration for the contest via SMS. One can register at home, at work, at play, or anywhere else that suits their time. The RHB “That’s Easy” Contest bears the tagline, “You’ll find any excuse to use your RHB Credit Card.” Also, to make it even easier for RHB Cardmembers to participate in this campaign, they are only required to register their Credit card number once, via SMS for their transactions to be automatically tracked as contest entries for an opportunity to win the prizes. Mr. Viegas explained, “In line with our new motto, “Banking Simplified”, we have created this campaign to make it even easier for RHB Cardmembers to be rewarded with exciting prizes. All RHB cardmembers need to do is register themselves for the contest and spend a minimum amount of RM50 in a single transaction.
