RHB Revises Base Lending Rate and Base Financing Rate to be effective 13 July 2010

The RHB Banking Group will revise its base lending rate (BLR) per annum for RHB Bank Berhad and RHB Islamic Bank’s base financing rate (BFR), from 6.05% per annum to 6.30% per annum, with effect from 13 July 2010.

The new FD rates, also effective 13 July 2010, are 2.75% (for 1-5 months, previously 2.50), 2.95% (6-11 months, previously 2.70%), 3.10% (12 months, previously 3.00%).

Dato’ Tajuddin Atan, the Group Managing Director of the RHB Banking Group, said that this is in line with Bank Negara Malaysia’s move to raise the overnight policy rate (OPR) by 25 basis points to 2.75%.
