Introducing the Preferred Travel Insurance Plan, the travel personal accident plan that offers comprehensive coverage for you and your loved ones, regardless of your destination.

The Preferred Travel Insurance Plan gives you not only protection upon an accident or hospitalisation, but also luggage delay, flight cancellation, travel delay, missed departure and many more.

This is a unique insurance policy that allows you to travel at ease, knowing that you are completely covered.

Special Benefits

   Personal Accident
You will be paid up to RM500,000 (RM125,000 for children) for bodily injury that results in the following :

  • Death
  • Permanent disable
   Medical & Other Expenses
Pays the incurred expenses resulting from death, bodily injury or illness during the journey, including :
  • Up to RM50,000 for medical, surgical, hospital, nursing home or nursing services, emergency dental treatment and emergency medical evacuation
  • Up to RM5,000 for follow-up treatment for 30 days upon your return home
  • Up to RM2,500 in the event of death for burial or cremation plus conveyance of ash or body to the insured home
  • Up to RM2,000 for reasonable additional accomodation and travelling expenses for one immediate family member to accompany a dependant child who is left unattended due to your hospitalization
  • RM100 for each full day you are confined in the hospital up to a maximum of RM3,000 in total
   Personal Luggage & Personal Effects
  • Luggage Delay
    Pays up to RM600 for the purchase of essential items such as toiletries and clothing due to the delay of your baggage by the carrier for more than 8 hours.

  • Personal Money
    Pays up to RM1,000 for the accidental loss of your personal money during your journey.

  • Travel Documents
    Pays up to RM2,000 in the event of theft or destruction of your passport or visa and/or travel documents for additional accomodation and traveling expenses incurred.

  • Cancellation
    Pays up to RM10,000, if you cancel your trip due to illness, bodily injured or death to you or your travel partner. Also pays for any incidents your control that causes your trip to be cancelled.

  • Curtailment
    Pays up to RM10,000 as refund of any unused or non-refundable part of your trip due to causes beyond your control.

  • Travel Delay
    Pays up to RM200 for each 8 full hours of delay or up to RM2,000 as compensation for the delay of your scheduled aircraft, train or sea vessel.

  • Missed Departure
    Pays up to RM1,000 in case the public transport you use fails to get you to the airport, port or train station on time.

  • Personal Liability
    Pays up to RM500,000 for any incidents that result in bodily injury, loss or damage that you are legally liable to pay to a third party due to your negligence.

  • 24-Hour Emergency Assistance
