RHB BANK LAUNCHES RHB My1 HOME LOAN PACKAGE
Four packages for customers to choose from
- Package 1 - 3.2% for first year, BLR + 0% for second year, BLR + 0.6% for consecutive years.
- Package 2 - 5.30% fixed rate for three years, BLR + 0.6% thereafter.
- Package 3 - 5.80% fixed rate for five years, BLR + 0.6% thereafter.
- Package 4 - 5.20% for first year, BLR + 0% for second year and BLR + 0.6% thereafter. (Free Moving Cost)
Kuala Lumpur, 1 August 2001-RHB Bank Berhad ("RHB Bank") is offering all home owners and house buyers the opportunity to switch or secure a new home loan package - the RHB My1 Home Loan - among the most competitive to date in the Malaysian market in terms of fixed rates, flexible payments, free moving costs and various other benefits.
RHB Bank Head of Consumer Banking Peter England said today, "Our RHB My1 Account has long been regarded as a market leading product. We now bring the benefits, convenience, and flexibility of the RHB My1 account into a home loan package with options to suit all customer needs."
Customers have the choice of 1, 3, and 5 year fixed rate housing loans as well as a 1 year fixed rate with free moving costs. "No other bank currently in Malaysia offers such a comprehensive range of housing loan options for customers. And of course when you bank with RHB Bank, you know you will always have the convenience of our extensive branch and ATM network as well." he added.
All four options in the RHB My1 Home Loan come with the RHB My1 deposit account, free credit card, optional overdraft and a unique cash back scheme for customers.
In conjunction with the MAPEX Fair 2000 which begins tomorrow, RHB Bank is also offering a special package for properties under construction sold by developers during the Fair. The package comes with a fixed rate of 2.85% for the first year, BLR + 0% for the second and BLR + 0.6% for the third and consecutive years. This package is valid from 2 August to 15 September 2001.
In addition to the RHB My1 Home Loan, RHB Bank also offers customers an Islamic home financing package - the RHB Bai Bithaman Ajil (BBA) Home Financing Scheme - which comes with an Islamic Overdraft facility. The scheme covers both purchase of residential properties and refinancing of completed residential properties.
