Rashid Hussain Securities Voted Best Malaysian Securities And Research House In Asiamoney Brokers' Poll And Ranked Among Asia's Top 20 Research Houses
Kuala Lumpur, 5 October 2001-.Rashid Hussain Securities ("RHS") scored high votes to emerge as the best Malaysian securities and research house as well as the only Malaysian securities company to be ranked among Asia's top 20 research houses in the Asiamoney magazine Brokers' Poll 2001.
RHS retained its first place position in most of the sectors under the Malaysia category for the ninth consecutive year taking the No 1 position for Best Overall Sales Services, Best Execution and Best in Sales Trading. RHS was also designated as the clear front runner for research in the Macroeconomics and Banking sectors in Malaysia. RHB Research Institute Managing Director Mr Ooi Sang Kuang was ranked No 2 in the Best Analyst category for Malaysia with RHS taking second position this year for Best Overall Country Research for Malaysia.
RHS also scored high ratings in the sectors of Strategy, Capital Goods, Food and Beverage and Tobacco services.
In the Overall Best Research category for Asia, RHS rose to 15th position in the ranking for Asia's Top 20 research houses, moving up the ladder from 17th place in 2000.
