ADDITIONS TO COMPONENT STOCKS

RHB Islamic Index
Kuala Lumpur, Friday, 12 July 2002 - The RHB Equity Indices Committee wishes to announce the addition of Maxis Communications Berhad ("Maxis") as a component stock of the RHB Tech Index and PLUS Expressways Berhad ("PLUS") as a component stock of the RHB Islamic Index.
The additions follow the recent listing of Maxis on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange and the expected listing of PLUS on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange on 17 July 2002.
