RHB BOND FUND & RHB ISLAMIC BOND FUND DECLARE INCOME DISTRIBUTIONS FOR THE FINANCIAL YEAR ENDED 30 SEPTEMBER 2002

11 October 2002, Kuala Lumpur- RHB Unit Trust Management Berhad announced today the declaration of a 9.40 Sen per unit Annual Gross Income Distribution for the RHB Bond Fund for the Financial Year Ended 30 September 2002. The net income distribution is 8.8928 Sen per unit. This distribution brings the total gross income distribution to 46.11 Sen since inception or an average income yield of 9.22 Sen gross per annum.

It also declared a second and final gross income distribution of 4.50 Sen per unit or net of 3.7247 Sen for the RHB Islamic Bond Fund for the same financial year-end. Together with the interim gross income distribution of 3 Sen per unit, the total gross income distribution of the fund is 7.5 Sen per unit for the financial year ended 30 September 2002.

The RHB Bond Fund and RHB Islamic Bond Fund were the first of its kind to be launched by RHB Unit Trust Management Berhad. The Bond Funds are tailored to provide investors with regular income through investments in fixed income securities. The RHB Islamic Bond Fund invests only in Islamic debt and fixed income securities which are acceptable under the Syariah principles.
