Further to the announcement made on 25 April 2003, RHB Capital Berhad ("RHB Capital") wishes to announce that the Sale of Shares Agreement for the disposal of the entire issued and paid-up share capital of Straits-G.K. Goh Research Sdn Bhd ("SGKGR") by Straits Asset Holdings Sdn Bhd ("SAHSB") to G.K. Goh Holdings Limited ("GK Goh") was completed earlier today.GK Goh is a past major shareholder of SAHSB, a wholly-owned subsidiary of RHB Capital via RHB Sakura Merchant Bankers Berhad and RHB Marketing Services Sdn Bhd.As announced earlier, the shares in SGKGR were disposed for a cash consideration of RM377,128-00 based on 1.4 times the audited NTA of SGKGR as at 30 September 2002 of RM269,377-00, being the latest available audited NTA of SGKGR.With the completion of the said disposal, SGKGR ceases to be an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of RHB Capital.This announcement is dated
