RHB Bank and Senheng Launch Lifestyle Co-Brand "PlusOne" Credit Card

KUALA LUMPUR, 12 April 2006: RHB Bank Bhd (“RHB Bank”) and consumer electronics retailer Senheng Electric (KL) Sdn Bhd (“Senheng”) have teamed up to offer a new co-branded credit card that promises more value and a new shopping experience.

The RHB PlusOne MasterCard was officially launched today, offering cardmembers exclusive benefits such as 2% PlusOne Ringgit on all purchases at Senheng and senQ outlets nationwide, in addition to RHB Bank’s existing credit card benefits.

Cardmembers earn PlusOne Ringgit (P1RM) amounting to 2% of their total purchases when they use their RHB PlusOne MasterCard at Senheng or senQ outlets.

Cardmembers can only redeem their PlusOne Ringgit from over 3,000 items at any Senheng or senQ outlet on the spot.

Cardmembers will also get an additional one-year warranty on all items purchased at Senheng and senQ outlets, get member price all year round and benefit from 0% interest instalment of up to 24 months.

Head of Cards & Unsecured Business at RHB Bank, Mr Gan Kheng Chai, said the PlusOne MasterCard is perfect for credit card users who seek greater value, convenience and choices. “This card offers payment flexibility with superior value and rewards for cardmembers, in line with our tagline – The Perfect Card for Modern Living,” Mr Gan added.

Mr Gan said research done by RHB Bank had shown that consumer demands now extended beyond the convenience of paying without cash to include other benefits such as wider choices and greater rewards.
