RHB Bank bags four awards from CCAM

Petaling Jaya:RHB Bank Bhd ("RHB Bank") has earned itself yet another honour. This time the bank proves why it continues to be regarded as one of the top Contact Centres in the Country by bagging four awards at the 8th Customer Relationship Management & Contact Centre Association Malaysia (CCAM) Annual Contact Centre Awards 2007.

The accolades include both the Gold and Silver Awards for the "Best In-House Sales Contact Centre" and "Best In-House Service Contact Centre" over 50 seats under the Corporate Awards category. To top it off, RHB Bank was also the sole finalist under the Gold Award category.

Under the Individual Awards Category, Team Manager Ms Gurmit Kaur and Telemarketer Ms Evelyn Ee Sue Ying clinched the Bronze Award for the Best Contact Centre Team Leader (over 50 seats) and Best Contact Centre Telemarketer (open) respectively.

RHB Bank's Customer Care Centre Department (CCC) has grown leaps and bounds to become a full fledged contact centre since its inception in 2001. Since then, RHB Bank has secured the Gold Award for Best New Call Centre (below 50 seats) in CCAM Contact Centre Awards in 2001 and a further Gold for the Best Contact Centre Professional (over 50 seats) in 2005.

"Our continuous effort to consistently serve the Bank's customers with the highest quality standards has paved the path for our ISO 9001 certification. In Jan 2006, we were certified under the MS ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System Certification for the provision of RHB PhoneBanking in relation to Customer Service", said Mr Michael Lor, Head of Consumer Banking Division at RHB Bank.

"The CCAM Awards are recognition for the best-of-the-best among contact centres and to acknowledge professionals who are leading best-in-class contact centres in Malaysia," he added.
