RHB Investment Management Declares Income Distributions for RHB Mudharabah Fund and Global Fortune Fund
KUALA LUMPUR, April 01, 2008: RHB Investment Management Sdn Bhd (RHBIM) today declared a gross distribution of 8.30 sen per unit (or 9.97% yield) for its RHB Mudharabah Fund and 1.55 sen per unit (or 3.87% yield) for its Global Fortune Fund for the financial period ended 29 February 2008.
The income distribution for RHB Mudharabah Fund is the highest declared since its inception in May 1996. The yields for both funds are also the highest since their launch.
Puan Sharifatul Hanizah Said Ali, Managing Director of RHBIM, said that the figures are reflective of a steady performance by the Funds despite current difficult and volatile market conditions.
Unit holders of the two funds as at 29 February 2008 will be entitled to the distributions.
RHB Mudharabah Fund aims to provide a balanced mix of income and capital growth from stocks listed on the Bursa Securities or on any other stock exchanges, unlisted stocks and Islamic debt securities and other non-interest bearing assets acceptable under the principles of Syariah.
Global Fortune Fund aims to provide total return from dividend income, option premiums and capital appreciation, sustainable distributions and typically lower volatility portfolio compared to a normal equity investment.
“Moving forward from the merging of RHB Asset Management and RHB Unit Trust into RHB Investment Management on January 1, 2008, we are now able to offer our customers an even more integrated and wholesome investment approach. We are currently working on several initiatives which are expected to be rolled out from the second quarter onwards this year,” added Puan Sharifatul.

29 February 2008, RHBIM has investment assets under management in excess of RM4 billion.
