Puan Sharifatul Hanizah Said Ali (“Puan Sharifatul”) joined RHBIM in 2006 as its Chief Executive Officer.  She was appointed as the Managing Director of RHBIM on 7th February 2007 upon obtaining approval from the Securities Commission.

Puan Sharifatul has 17 years of experience in the financial services industry. She began her career in the capital industry in 1988 with a bank backed broking house prior to joining Permodalan Nasional Berhad (“PNB”) in 1991. Puan Sharifatul was formally the Vice President of Pelaburan ASN Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of PNB. She has extensive and diverse experience encompassing the field of investment analysis, portfolio management and equity trading. She is currently a licensed Fund Manager’s Representative as well as a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and a certified Financial Planner. During her tenure in PNB, she also served on the boards of both listed and private companies invested by PNB as a nominee of the state investment corporation

Abdul Razak Ahmad

Abdul Razak Ahmad, is a qualified and experienced professional who has been in the investment industry for over 12 years. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration (Finance) from University of Southwestern Louisiana. Prior to joining RHBIM, he was previously the Senior Vice President, Investment and Director for SBB Investment Management Sdn. Bhd. Before the merger between SBB Asset Management Sdn Bhd and BHLB Asset Management Sdn Bhd, he was the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director for the latter.

Abdul Razak Ahmad is a holder of the Capital Markets Services Representatives License.

Ida Zurina Marzuki Lam

Ida Zurina is a lawyer by training, having obtained an LLB (Hons) from the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom. She has approximately 8 years of experience in the capital market industry, having been with the Securities Commission as the Head of Business Rules and Policy in the Intermediary Supervision Department, and subsequently heading the Licensing Policy and Compliance Unit of the Licensing Department. Upon leaving the Securities Commission, she was appointed as the Acting Head of Group Corporate & Legal Affairs for the NAZA Group. She joined RHBIM in May 2007.

Designated Investment Manager/Fund Manager for RHB Capital Fund, RHB Dynamic Fund, RHB Bond Fund, RHB Islamic Bond Fund, RHB Spectrum Fund, RHB Islamic Growth Fund, RHB Mudharabah Fund, RHB Malaysia Recovery Fund, RHB Global Islamic Portfolio Series I, Global Themes Fund, Asian Total Return Fund, Global Multi Manager Fund and Cash Management Fund. His profile is as aforementioned.

The Chief Investment Officer is supported by a team of experienced investment managers/fund managers who are responsible to actively manage the Funds in accordance with the investment objectives of the Funds and the provision of the Deeds. The investment team shall have discretionary authority over the investments of the Funds subject to the rules and guidelines issued by the relevant authorities.
