- Who is eligible to apply?
All Malaysians, permanent residents and employment pass/work permit holders.
- Who is eligible to be covered under the family plan?
The applicant, his/her spouse and all his/her children are eligible.
- What is the age range for an adult or child to qualify for this policy?
Any adult from age 18 to 80 years (both years inclusive) and children from 31 days until 19 years old (both ages inclusive) or up to 23 years old if still studying, unmarried and not gainfully employed.
- What are the types of policies offered by E- Travel plan?
E- Travel plan offers a "short trip plan" as well as annual policy.
- Is there a maximum period of coverage?
Yes, the maximum period of coverage for any one trip is up to 90 days.
- When will the insurance cover commence and when will it terminate?
Coverage will commence from the time insured leaves his/her place of residence or business (whichever is later) for the journey. The coverage will terminate upon arrival at the insured’s place of residence or business (whichever is earlier) or upon the expiry of the period of policy (whichever is earlier).

- What are the major exclusions?
Injury or sickness contracted prior to the journey, any act of war, professional sports, any act of terrorism, pregnancy, childbirth or any complication thereof, mountaineering necessitating the use of rope, self-inflicted injury, AIDS and employment as flight crew.
